About Whitney LAndscape LA

In March the hills of northeast Los Angeles go briefly gold with wild mustard, and down along the Arroyo Seco the sycamores push out new leaves above Craftsman bungalows with deep, shady porches. That is when lawns across the city start racing, and Whitney LAndscape LA meets that rush, mowing and trimming front yards with regular care. Spring growth comes thick and uneven after the wet months, and taming it is satisfying work. A front lawn brought down to an even height, its edges squared against the porch steps, gives an old bungalow street the look of a postcard. By the time the hills fade to tawny in June, the lawn has already found its rhythm for the dry months ahead.
