About American Landscape

Early summer in Los Angeles often arrives wrapped in gray, the marine layer sliding in off the Pacific overnight and hanging low over the basin until the sun burns it away near noon. In that soft, shadowless light a newly mown lawn shows every even pass, and a trimmed walk reads like a line drawn with a ruler. American Landscape mows, edges and clears yards across Los Angeles so the grass looks settled whether the morning is June Gloom or full blue. When the sky finally opens, the clippings are gone from the drive and the yard simply looks right. It is steady, unglamorous work, and the pride is in how a well-kept lawn puts an entire block at ease.
