Stumpy's Tree Service

About Stumpy's Tree Service

When the first autumn storms sweep in over the Livermore Valley, the wind turbines along the Altamont ridges spin hard and every big tree in town gets a test. Stumpy's Tree Service works on the trees and lawns of Livermore, where valley oaks stand alone on the open hillsides and sycamores lean over the creek beds that cut through town. A crown thinned with care lets the wind slip through instead of shoving against it, and a tree tended that way stands a better chance through the winters ahead. Below the branches, the lawn gets its turn too, mowed neatly around the trunks once the pruning is done. It is a name that makes you smile and work that keeps Livermore's skyline leafy.
