About Wolf's Intuitive Landscapes

Some yards have to be read before they are worked, which is a fair way to hear the word intuitive in Wolf's Intuitive Landscapes. In Concord, autumn comes on slowly: the light turns low and amber over Lime Ridge Open Space, the evenings cool, and lawns that endured the summer begin to recover. It is the season for noticing where the grass thinned, where a mower should ride a little higher, where the turf has spilled into a bed. The lawn care itself is straightforward, a careful cut, tidy trim work and an edge redrawn where it has wandered, all done with an eye for how each yard wants to look. When it is finished, the grass lies smooth under October's long shadows and the whole lot seems at ease.
