About Mike Mccall Landscape

On a market day in downtown Concord, the shade trees of Todos Santos Plaza fill with people and the farmers market stalls spill color across the square. By late summer the hills around town have gone the color of straw, and a green yard reads like a deliberate choice. Mike Mccall Landscape looks after lawns here, cutting grass to an even height and sharpening the borders along sidewalks and planters so nothing goes ragged in the dry months. Concord summers are long and bright, and grass needs regular attention to hold its color against them. The reward arrives at dusk, when the heat breaks and a freshly trimmed front yard looks cool enough to cross barefoot.
