Del Rio Landscape

About Del Rio Landscape

At first light on Batiquitos Lagoon, the egrets stand motionless in the shallows and the marsh grasses hold the night's dew like a held breath. Del Rio Landscape tends the lawns of Carlsbad, a coastal city stitched together by three lagoons, where salt air and steady sun make for a long growing season. Fog often lingers over the water into midmorning before the sun takes over the coast. Here grass rarely rests, so keeping a landscape handsome means keeping it in line: mowing to a uniform length, edging walks and drives, trimming back what the mild climate encourages to sprawl. The reward is a yard that looks as calm and deliberate as the lagoon at dawn.
