About Coop's Service, LLC

The Belle Fourche River gets its start in the hills around Sundance, a modest stream this far up that still manages to freeze a low crossing solid most winters, and Coop's Service, LLC works the ranch roads that follow it out of town. A driveway along the river bottom holds cold air like a bowl, and snow that melted off a south-facing slope by noon can still be packed ice down where the water runs. The truck works those low spots first, then climbs out toward the drier ranch country where the wind has already done half the plowing by scouring the ridgetops bare. A gate at a property line gets cleared enough to swing open without dragging through a drift, small work that matters when it's the only way in or out. Coop's Service keeps that stretch of river-bottom and ranch road passable through a Crook County winter, one property at a time.
