About SSR Construction Inc

The brick storefronts along Sheridan's Main Street, the ones that still carry King's Saddlery's painted sign and stand in the shadow of the old Sheridan Inn, need their sidewalks and loading lots clear before the town wakes up, and that's the ground SSR Construction Inc works through a mountain winter. A commercial lot behind a Main Street shop gets pushed and stacked in a corner before the first delivery truck arrives, the berm built high enough that it won't drift back across overnight. Down the block, an alley barely wide enough for the truck gets scraped to bare brick pavers, blade angled tight against the old building's foundation. Snow off the Bighorns can pile fast here, and this crew's job is to have downtown's working ground open again before the shops post their hours. There's a certain satisfaction in a clean lot behind one of the town's oldest brick storefronts, the kind of ordinary, necessary work that keeps a historic Main Street running through the cold months.
