Big Horn Lawn & Snow

About Big Horn Lawn & Snow

March storms arrive in Sheridan sideways off the Front Range, heavy and wet, the kind that bends branches over Federal Boulevard by midnight. Big Horn Lawn & Snow is out in it while the streetlights still wear their halos. Driveways get opened end to end, walks cut down to bare concrete, and the ice broken at the lip of the gutter where it always wants to set. By the time the first cars roll south toward Oxford, the pavement is dark and wet and ready. There is a particular satisfaction in a drive cleared before dawn — nobody thanks the hour it took, and that is fine.
