Deep Roots and More

About Deep Roots and More

Sandy soil, alkali, and a growing season that shows up late and leaves early — grass in Rock Springs North earns every inch it gets. Deep Roots and More works with that rather than against it, mowing at a height that keeps the crown shaded and the roots reaching down instead of baking at the surface. Late on a summer evening, once the heat lifts off the Bitter Creek draw, the last pass of the day goes down and the yard settles quiet and even. Edges get cut in by hand where a mower can't reach the corner of a walk. It is ordinary work, done attentively, on lawns that people keep going in a hard country.
