About JB Yard & Lawn Service LLC

In June the Shoshone Project canals run full and you can hear them a block away, which is the sound Powell makes while it is growing. JB Yard & Lawn Service LLC works the shaded residential streets in that season, mowing and trimming yards on the tidy grid the town was laid out on. Weekly upkeep is the whole secret — grass kept at one length, edges cut in along the sidewalk squares, the concrete blown off so the job looks finished instead of abandoned. Evenings the sprinklers come on up and down the block and the air turns cool and green. There is a plain pride in leaving a yard a neighbor notices without quite knowing why.
