About Teletractors, Incorporated

Deep into a Pinedale winter night, with Highway 191 gone quiet and the town's lights small under a wide sky, Teletractors, Incorporated is often the only thing moving, tractors working parking areas and long commercial drives before the morning traffic starts. The machines are built for this kind of cold, the kind that turns fresh powder squeaky and dry, easy to push but quick to drift back if a lot sits too long between passes. Running equipment alone in the dark at altitude has its own rhythm, headlights carving a lit path while the rest of Sublette County sleeps under the snow. Getting a lot scraped to bare pavement before the first cars pull in means beating the weather at its own game, one more time. When the sun clears the horizon, the tractors are already parked, the work finished before Pinedale noticed it needed doing.
