About Clark's Landscaping

Late afternoon on the Ethete flats, the cottonwoods start throwing long shade and the wind finally sits down. That's the hour Clark's Landscaping likes for the finish pass — trimming out fence lines, squaring up the beds, running the edger where lawn meets gravel. Out here a yard is a small argument with the sagebrush, and it has to be made again every week from May into September. The mower stripes come out straight because someone walked the ground first and picked the rocks out of it. Ray Lake goes silver, the swallows drop low over the water, and the yard is the way it ought to be.
