About Marvalus Lawn Care

Down by Expedition Island the willows lean over the water and the Green River slides past the color of steeped tea, patient about everything. The lawns a few blocks up from the bank live a harder life — thin soil, big sun, an afternoon wind that comes through like it has somewhere to be — so the mowing has to suit them. Marvalus Lawn Care keeps a height that shades the roots, trims the corners and fence lines by hand, and edges walks and drives so the turf stops where it is supposed to. Late in the day, when the rock walls above town turn apricot, a finished yard holds that light better than anything else on the block. Grass is a guest in this country, and the work is making it feel welcome.
