About Born again lawn care

April arrives the way water does: all at once and from underneath, and the yards start turning at the root well before they turn at the tip. Born again lawn care is built for that turn — mowing that starts the week the ground firms up, string trimming along fence lines and foundations, edging that leaves a clean seam between grass and gravel drive. When the wind comes in dry, a lawn cut on a steady rhythm holds its color longer against that push. Aeration and overseeding go in while the mornings are still cool and the soil will still take them. There is a plain satisfaction in the last pass of a morning, when the stripes lie down straight and the clippings are swept off the walk before anyone is home to see it happen.
