Wind River Land Management

About Wind River Land Management

Out past the last irrigated field the color changes — red clay, greasewood, the badland hills stepping up toward the Owl Creeks. Wind River Land Management works the ground in between, where a place is part lawn and part open acreage: mowing yards and lots, cutting back whatever crowds a fence line or a driveway, clearing and hauling so a property reads as kept rather than surrendered to the sagebrush. It's the sort of work you measure by turning around and looking back down the length of what you just cut. Big country makes a tidy line look better, not smaller. On the Wind River Reservation, that line is the whole point of the day.
