About A+ Lawn and Trees

Morning comes down the avenues in long bars of light, and the big ash and elm that shade Cody's side streets take it first. A+ Lawn and Trees keeps to that early hour — mower running while the air is still cool off the Shoshone, before the afternoon wind picks up out of the canyon. Turf at five thousand feet asks for attention: a careful cut, a fed and thickened stand, weeds pulled back out of the strip between sidewalk and street. The trees get their own share of the work, limbs shaped and deadwood taken down so a yard reads open instead of crowded. By the time the day heats up the lines are laid and the walks are clear, and the block looks like someone meant it.
