Chuck's Lawn Care

About Chuck's Lawn Care

Evening at Beck Lake turns the water the color of the sky and softens every yard on the south side of Cody. Chuck's Lawn Care is often still out then, finishing a last pass while the swallows work the air above the sage. The routine is honest and unhurried: mow, trim around the posts and the meter and the young trees, edge the drive, blow the walks clean. In a town where irrigation makes the green happen, cutting at the right height is half of keeping a lawn alive through July. What stays with you is the smell of fresh grass on cool air, and a yard that looks cared for all the way from the street.
