Green Shoes

About Green Shoes

On the older streets below Casper College the ash and elm lean out over the pavement, and early enough in the morning the dew will soak your shoes before you reach the mailbox. Green Shoes works those shaded lots and the sunnier ones east of them, cutting at a height that suits how much light each yard actually gets. Mow lines go down even, the trimmer follows the tree rings and the walk seams, and the edge along the sidewalk is cut the whole run rather than just where it shows. Everything gets blown back off the concrete before the truck moves on. Then the lawn is just a lawn again — soft, level, and worth walking on barefoot in the evening.
