Ohio Valley Lawn Care

About Ohio Valley Lawn Care

First light on the Ohio comes with fog on the water, and a towboat pushing barges south past Benwood is heard long before it is seen. Ohio Valley Lawn Care starts the day into that quiet — mowing and trimming the river-bottom yards under the old sycamores, edging the walks that run down toward the bank. Ground this close to the water grows thick and grows fast, so the schedule stays tight from April on, and seasonal cleanups keep lawns and beds clear at both ends of the year. The reward is a row of yards along the valley floor that all look tended on the same day of the week. It is a working river and a working town, and the lawns are part of how the place carries itself.
