About Kreitzer Landscaping

Wheeling Hill switchbacks up above the tunnel, and every street on it holds a row of yards that are half lawn, half slope. Kreitzer Landscaping is on those streets in November, when the oaks finally give up and the leaves come down the hill faster than anyone can rake them. Mowing continues as long as the grass asks for it; after that the work turns to leaf removal and fall cleanups, hauling the season off the lawn before it can smother what is underneath. Frost arrives early up there, silvering the grass by morning while the valley below is still green. A yard cleared ahead of the first hard cold comes back easily in spring, and that is the whole idea.
