About Cutting Edge Tree Service LLC

Teays Valley is the bed of a river that stopped running long before anyone here was born — a wide, flat trough between Putnam County's hills with the highway laid straight down the middle of it. Cutting Edge Tree Service LLC works that valley floor and the ridges above it, from Hurricane and Scott Depot up toward Winfield. March wind is the season that keeps the phone going: a poplar leaning after a wet week, a pin oak dropping limbs on a subdivision lawn, a sycamore along a creek that has finally undercut itself. Removals are brought down in stages when a fence, a pool or a neighbor's roof is in play, and the wood is cut up and carried out the same day. Trimming and pruning are the between-times work — clearance, dead wood, and the shape a tree needs to take the next hard blow standing.
