Claypool Tree Service

About Claypool Tree Service

The West Fork holds fog over Clarksburg until mid-morning some winters, and the hills above town come out of it one ridge at a time. Claypool Tree Service is already up there — a silver maple over a Nutter Fort driveway, a brittle ash behind a Shinnston garage, a locust crowding the power drop on a Bridgeport lot. Removals on Harrison County slopes are worked with rope, because there is rarely a flat place to lay a tree down and never a good place for it to roll. Trimming and pruning through the year keep crowns light and branches off the roofline, which is most of what stops a bad night from turning into a bad month. After weather comes through they are back for the rest of it: limbs cleared, trunks cut to length, brush carried out, the yard looking settled again.
