About Morgan Lawn and Services

Past the edge of Shepherdstown the ground rolls open toward the Potomac — farm lanes, fence lines, the ridge standing blue on the far side of the water. Morgan Lawn and Services covers that spread, the big country yards where a lawn just ends in a field and the drives that take a full pass of their own to reach the house. Jefferson County mornings in autumn start with frost silvering the grass and finish with a truck bed full of leaves, and the mowing keeps going right up until the ground quits growing. Trimming runs the fence rows and circles the outbuildings, and a last blow-off leaves the gravel and the porch clean. Cut that way, a yard holds its shape all week, which out here is exactly what is wanted.
