Mathias Lawn Care

About Mathias Lawn Care

Shepherdstown keeps its old bones — the brick fronts along German Street, Town Run slipping past under the sidewalks, lots laid out back when a yard was measured in steps. Mathias Lawn Care mows in those tight, walled-in spaces where a wide deck simply will not fit and half the job is done by hand along stone and boxwood. Grass comes on fast over this limestone ground after a rain, so the schedule holds its weekly beat from April onward, with trimming close to fence posts and foundations and the walks swept clear afterward. Leaves are their own season here, coming down thick off street trees that have been shading these blocks for generations. A trimmed yard in an old town looks less like landscaping and more like continuity.
