Mendzela's Mowing Service

About Mendzela's Mowing Service

Shenandoah Junction was named for the spot where two railroads cross, and freight trains still rumble through while Jefferson County fields roll out on every side. Mendzela's Mowing Service lays down parallel lines of its own, mowing stripes as straight as track. On an early June evening, with the Blue Ridge going blue-violet along the eastern horizon and a horn sounding somewhere down the line, new-cut grass smells like summer beginning. Trim lines get tightened and the driveway and sidewalk swept, so the yard looks squared away at a glance. Two lines crossed to make this town; the mower's lines keep its yards in order.
