About The Punkin Patch, LLC

Late August in St. Albans holds onto the light — supper is over, porch lamps are on, and the air off the river finally cools. The Punkin Patch, LLC does its lawn work in that stretch of the year when the grass grows hard and the evenings stretch long: regular mowing, trimming out the corners a mower cannot reach, edging beds and walkways back to a clean line. Yards here run from flat river lots to narrow strips between houses, and each one gets cut to suit it rather than forced into a pattern. When the leaves start dropping in earnest, the clearing begins, and the lawns go into winter looking cared for. The route stays local — St. Albans and the towns just around it in the Kanawha Valley.
