Lawncare

About Lawncare

Saint Albans in July holds its heat down in the valley until well past supper, and the streets go quiet in the middle of the day while the town waits for the shade to swing around. Lawncare works those hours through the small squared-off lots — front yards the size of a room, back yards with a clothesline and a garden at the far end. Each one gets mowed at a height that will hold through a dry week, trimmed close along the foundation, and edged where the sod tries to creep out over the sidewalk. Rain comes up the valley fast in a Kanawha summer, so the schedule bends around the sky and catches up the next clear morning. The result is plain and worth it: a whole block of front yards that look looked after.
