About Jackson's Professional Services

By October the hills above St. Albans have gone rust and gold, and every yard in town is under a week's worth of leaves. Jackson's Professional Services works the season out — the last mowings of the year, leaves cleared off the grass and out of the beds, trimming tightened up before the ground goes cold. Plenty of these lots run uphill off the street, terraced and awkward, and they get walked rather than rushed. There is a real satisfaction in a hillside lawn raked bare and cut short while the ridge behind it is still burning red. The work covers St. Albans and the neighboring towns of the lower Kanawha.
