About TrueCare Tree Services LLC

From Fort Boreman Hill you can watch the Little Kanawha slide into the Ohio, and the town below sits under a canopy that looks solid until you stand beneath it in July. TrueCare Tree Services LLC works that canopy up close — the hackberry with a split crotch, the ash gone hollow at the base, the maple whose lowest limbs have been dragging on a roof since the last wet snow. Trimming and pruning are done so a tree keeps a shape it can carry: crossing limbs taken, weight pulled back off the ends, clearance opened over the drive. When a tree is past keeping, it comes out piece by piece rather than in one fall, because these hillside yards are small and the neighbors are near. And when an afternoon storm rolls up the river and leaves half a crown on the grass, they haul it off and put the place back in order.
