About Strohl and Sons, The Works Company LLC

City Park at dusk in July: the lake goes flat and copper, the sycamores let go of the day's heat, and somewhere a mower is finishing a last pass before the light quits. Strohl and Sons, The Works Company LLC keeps that same rhythm across Parkersburg — mowing, string trimming, edging, and hauling off the clippings and leaves so a place looks tended rather than merely cut. The name says the works, and the work is the ordinary kind that adds up: a yard that stays even week to week, corners that never get skipped, a curb strip as sharp in August as it was in May. Grass here answers to river air, shooting up after a storm and sulking through a dry spell, and a schedule that bends with it beats one that doesn't. There is real satisfaction in walking off a lawn at last light knowing it will still look right come Sunday.
