Newleaf Tree Service

About Newleaf Tree Service

Spring on the Ohio arrives brown and fast, and by the time the river drops back, the big trees over Parkersburg's old squares are pushing new leaf. Newleaf Tree Service works that season — pruning the sycamores and maples on the streets near the point, thinning crowns that grew heavy over a porch roof, pulling the dead wood before the canopy closes and hides it. Removals on the narrow historic lots are handled with rope and patience, sections lowered past bay windows and iron fence rather than sent down free. Storms track up the river valley in summer and leave limbs across drives from Vienna out to Mineral Wells; afterward the wood is sectioned out, the brush is gone, and the lawn is combed clean. The good days end with a tree that stays — lighter, better shaped, set up for another long run of summers.
