About Thornsley Tree & Landscape LLC

October arrives in Scotts Run before it reaches anywhere else — the hollow narrows, the light goes short, and the maples on the hillside above Osage let go all at once. Thornsley Tree & Landscape LLC spends that stretch overhead and underfoot both: limbs eased back off the rooflines where the hill leans in close to the road, brush cleared from the bank, then the leaves gathered off the small front yards that sit a step up from Route 7. Ground this steep asks for a plan — where the water runs, what holds the slope, which tree gets shaped and which one comes down. Below town the Monongahela keeps its own unhurried schedule, and the work follows a plain one: finish the block, haul it away, sweep the walk behind you. Come spring the mowing starts again on those same tilted lawns, and the hollow reads as tended the whole way up.
