About Nitro Lawnmower & Chainsaw Co

September mornings in Nitro come in cool and clean, the Kanawha running gray-green past the plant sites, the grass still holding enough dew to load up a dull blade. Nitro Lawnmower & Chainsaw Co knows better than most what a sharp edge does to a lawn — a clean cut instead of a tear, a yard that stays green at the tips instead of going brown a day later. The lawn work follows from that: mowing, trimming, edging and end-of-season cleanups done with equipment that is actually ready to work. As autumn takes hold the maples along the avenues start dropping, and the leaves get pulled off before they pack down over the turf. It is a practical kind of pride, and this is a practical town to have it in.
