Tammie's Lawn Care & Landscaping

About Tammie's Lawn Care & Landscaping

Late on a July evening the Ohio goes the color of poured glass, and a towboat pushing barges downriver takes ten slow minutes to clear the Moundsville waterfront. Tammie's Lawn Care & Landscaping keeps working right through that long light, because summer grass in a river town grows fast and forgives nothing. The work is mowing, trimming and edging on a steady rhythm — every week, same day, so nobody has to think about it — with cleanups when a yard has gotten ahead of itself. This was a town that shipped fine glass out on the water once, and the same care shows up now in a straight cut line along a walk. By dusk the mower is loaded, the clippings are off the drive, and the lawn holds its shape until the next visit.
