Mountaineer Lawn Care

About Mountaineer Lawn Care

October turns the hills above the campus a gold you can see all the way from the Evansdale side of town, and every front yard between there and High Street wants to look presentable by Saturday. Mountaineer Lawn Care keeps that promise the practical way — a last few cuts while the grass is still growing, leaves off the turf before they mat down, edges recut where summer blurred them. Autumn is also when the seed and the aerator earn their keep, holes punched into tired ground so that next spring comes up thicker. The work happens right through the color, loads going out of yards while the maples on the side streets let go all at once. Then the frost arrives, the mowing stops, and the lawns are left flat, clear, and ready to sleep.
