Morgantown Mowers & More

About Morgantown Mowers & More

By two o'clock in July the heat sits down on Sabraton and refuses to move, and the thunderheads start stacking behind Chestnut Ridge like they're waiting their turn. Morgantown Mowers & More works right through that window — mowing, trimming, hedge work, and the beds along the Mileground where grass grows an inch a day after every storm. The "more" is the small stuff: the strip nobody can reach behind the shed, the mulch that needs turning, the overgrown corner by the mailbox. Rain comes hard and fast in this valley and the ground drinks it, so a yard cut Tuesday can look shaggy by Friday, and the schedule is built around that rhythm. The best part is the last pass, when the mower turns and the whole yard reads in one direction.
