About Lamar Services LLC

Morgantown is a city built on a slant, its neighborhoods climbing the hills above the Monongahela, and its lawns rarely sit flat. Lamar Services LLC takes those grades in stride, mowing across steep front yards and terraced backyards so the stripes hold true from the street below. On a bright May morning, with the PRT cars gliding between campuses and the river shining in the valley, a slope cut in clean bands seems drawn with a ruler. Edges get trimmed along retaining walls and stairways, and sidewalks are cleared of clippings. Hillside mowing that looks effortless, in a town where almost nothing is level.
