Bearcat Lawn and Landscape

About Bearcat Lawn and Landscape

Star City wakes humid in June, the river running flat past the old glass-works lots and the rail trail busy well before seven. Bearcat Lawn and Landscape keeps the grass on those streets in rhythm with the heat, cutting before the afternoon closes in and pulling the edges tight against curb and driveway apron. After a wet week the fescue here grows fast enough to hear, and the reward is a lawn that stripes cleanly and carries its color deep into July. Trimming around porch steps, mailbox posts, and fence lines takes the extra minutes that show up from the sidewalk. It is plain work, and it makes a whole block look like somebody is paying attention.
