Ayers Cares

About Ayers Cares

April mornings in Meadow Bridge can still begin with frost on the windshield and wood smoke curling from a chimney, but by afternoon the meadows that echo the town's name are stirring green. Ayers Cares meets that slow, lovely thaw with mower and rake. Care is right there in the name, and here it lives in small things: grass mown at an easy, even height, the edges along the walk trimmed neat, the winter's scatter of sticks and leaves raked clear. A yard tended this way greets the warm months already looking like itself. On a quiet road in a small town, that kind of attention is a neighborly thing.
