About Compton Lawn Care

Route 11 runs the length of the Great Valley, and Martinsburg grew up on both sides of it, old brick and newer siding with lawns of every awkward shape squeezed between. Compton Lawn Care works those lots toward the end of the day, when the light turns amber and a fresh-cut yard looks like it has been pressed flat and smooth. Mowing, trimming, edging and hauling off the clippings is the whole of the job, and doing all four is what separates a mowed yard from a finished one. Grass here climbs hard from April into July, so the calendar matters as much as the machine. Martinsburg and the communities strung along the valley floor make up the week.
