Native Havens

About Native Havens

Kearneysville lies in the open limestone country of the Eastern Panhandle, where orchard rows run toward the Blue Ridge and freight trains sound out across the fields. Native Havens tends lawns on that gentle, rolling ground. The name says something about the aim: a yard that feels like a haven, a place to sit on a June morning and listen to the mockingbirds. Mowing, trimming and neat borders give the grass its shape, and the property is left feeling settled and calm. In a town where apple blossom still drifts on the spring air, a lawn tended this way belongs to the landscape.
