About Cornerstone Lawn Services

Kearneysville is orchard and limestone country, hedgerow-lined fields and stone farmhouses set back from roads that wander off toward Shepherdstown and the Potomac. Cornerstone Lawn Services keeps the lawns in among all of that — the deep lots where old shade trees let go of a season's worth of leaves, and the newer yards on open ground where the wind crosses unbroken. An October morning here starts with frost on the grass and ends warm enough to mow, so the day gets worked from the sunny side around. Through the growing months it is mowing, trimming, edging and bed work on a steady loop; through the fall it is leaves, hauled off rather than pushed to the tree line. Jefferson County land has been tended a long time, and a well-kept yard belongs to that habit.
