Mountaineer Lawns & Gardens

About Mountaineer Lawns & Gardens

Hurricane is a valley town with mountains on every horizon, and the light comes over the eastern ridge late and all at once, warming the yards on the west side of the street first. Mountaineer Lawns & Gardens meets that light already working — mowing the cool early rows, then turning to the borders where perennials crowd the lawn and need a firm line held between them. Rain moves through Putnam County in long grey days that make everything grow at once, so the schedule leans on consistency rather than heroics. Autumn is for clearing the leaf fall and cutting the beds back, so the frost finds everything ready. The reward is simple and visible from the road: a home that is plainly cared for.
