About Hardin's Lawn Care LLC

First light in Altizer, and river fog is still lying in the low streets at the east end of Huntington, beading on everything it touches. Hardin's Lawn Care LLC waits it out with the truck idling, then goes to work as the grass dries: mowing, trimming around swing sets and clothesline poles, edging the sidewalk seams, blowing the drive clean. Cutting wet grass leaves clumps and ruts, while cutting at the right hour leaves a lawn that lies down even and holds its pattern all week. It is a small distinction that shows for days afterward. By the time the sun clears the Ohio hills, the first yards on the route are already finished.
