About Preston Lawn Services

Out on the back roads, the woods open now and then onto a field, a farmhouse, a yard someone keeps up. Preston Lawn Services looks after those yards around Fairmont — regular mowing through the growing months, trimming around stone walls and outbuildings, cleanups when the year turns over. Grass comes on hard in June and slows by August, and the schedule follows the grass rather than the calendar. Deer step out at dusk to the edge of the cut, which is its own quiet proof the work got done. The reward is a place that looks tended, set against a great deal of woods.
