About Terra Flora Landscaping

October in Elkins turns the hills of the Monongahela into something people drive hours to look at, and for a few weeks the yards in town borrow all of that color. Terra Flora Landscaping works straight through it — leaf cleanup, final cuts, beds cut back and mulched so the plantings come through the mountain cold in good shape. In the growing season it is weekly mowing, trimming, edging, and shaping the shrubs before they crowd a porch. The ground here is generous where the Tygart laid it down and stubborn where the ridge begins, so the planting follows the ground instead of arguing with it. By the time the last load of leaves is hauled off, a place is ready to rest and ready to green up again.
