On Deck

About On Deck

Nothing announces the turn of the season in Dunbar like the first Saturday the ball diamonds get cut and the outfield smells green again. On Deck brings that same standard to front yards up and down the valley floor — mowing at a height that keeps turf thick, trimming close along fences and hedges, edges cut in cleanly beside the sidewalk. Service runs weekly through the growing months, with beds mulched and shrubs kept inside their bounds. When the light goes short, it is leaves and last cuts and a clear sweep before the cold weather sets in. A well-kept lawn is a place people actually use, which is the entire point of keeping it.
