Danese sits up on the Fayette plateau where US-19 runs between the New River Gorge and the Meadow River country, high enough that summer nights turn cool and the dew stays late into the morning. D-N-A Lawncare works the open yards and field edges up here — mowing, string trimming, edging, and all the careful trimming around fence lines and outbuildings that a plateau property collects. Rhododendron and hemlock crowd the creek hollows down toward Babcock, while on top the grass grows hard and fast from May straight through September. Fall brings leaf cleanup and a final cut taken low so the yard winters well. It is plain work and it shows plainly: a place that looks tended from the road.
