Varney's Tree Service

About Varney's Tree Service

Crooked Creek earns its name honestly, the water doubling back and forth through the kind of hollow where sycamore and tulip poplar lean out over every bend. Varney's Tree Service works among those trees, taking on the trimming and tree care that keeps big limbs in their place above the homes and yards below. Winter strips the hardwoods bare and shows each crown's true shape against a cold, pale sky, making plain what needs to come down and what should stay. Lawn care rounds out the work, so the ground under the canopy stays as neat as the branches above it. When the job is done, a little more sky opens over the creek, and the hollow feels lighter for it.
